PTS Managed Services · Free self-assessment
How mature is your company's IT?
About three minutes, in plain English — answer Yes, No or Not sure to questions about everyday things, no IT knowledge needed. You get a clear picture of where you stand, what's worth checking, and a proposed scope of services. Keep it as a PDF, or send it to PTS and we'll validate it with a free assessment and a costed proposal.
- A clear picture of where your IT stands — no jargon, "not sure" is a fine answer
- What's missing, what's worth checking, and why each one matters
- A proposed scope of services, traceable to your answers — no prices, no obligation
- Your own PDF copy; nothing leaves your browser unless you submit
Who you are
Seven quick questions — no IT knowledge needed. They tailor the checklist and the proposed scope: a five-person cloud-only firm and a 200-person firm with servers in two countries are not marked against the same list.
What you have today
Answer from everyday experience — no jargon, no trick questions. "Not sure" is a perfectly good answer: it usually means "worth checking", and those are exactly the items a free assessment checks first.

What you need
Select everything on your mind — this is what shapes the proposed scope. There are no wrong answers and nothing here commits you to anything.
Your IT maturity assessment
11–50 people · Other · Hong Kong · cloud only · no in-house IT · not regulated · hybrid
Answer who you are, go through what you have (Yes / Not sure / No — "not sure" is fine) and pick what you need. This page then shows your position, what's worth checking, and a proposed scope of services. The scope below shows a typical starting position for a firm of this profile.
What a starting scope typically looks like
Answer the steps above and this becomes specific to you.
Fully managed IT support
Helpdesk, on-site engineers, monitoring, updates and vendor management under one agreement — your IT department, delivered as a service.
Because you told us: no dedicated in-house IT; support isn't tracked to response times.
Cybersecurity uplift
Phone-confirmed sign-ins everywhere, monitored protection on every computer, hardened email and staff training — the baseline attackers assume you don't have.
Because you told us: sign-ins aren't confirmed by phone everywhere; computers aren't under monitored protection; scam emails are getting through; no recent staff security training.
Microsoft 365 security & backup
Your Microsoft 365 set up properly and backed up independently — so deleted email and files can always come back.
Because you told us: deleted email or files can't reliably be recovered; sensitive files aren't restricted to the right people.
Backup & business continuity
Backups that are tested, a written plan for the bad day, and someone who has rehearsed it — proven, not assumed.
Because you told us: backups have never been restore-tested; no written plan for an outage or attack.
Office network & Wi-Fi
Business-grade firewall and Wi-Fi with guest access separated — engineered and looked after, not accumulated.
Because you told us: the office network isn't confirmed professionally set up and maintained.
IT advisory & documentation
A documented IT estate, a 12-month plan and budget, and someone senior to own it with you — without hiring an IT director.
Because you told us: passwords, licences and documentation live with one person; no IT budget or 12-month plan.
Get your free assessment — and a costed proposal
Send this to PTS and within two business days we'll come back to arrange a free assessment — a structured conversation with an engineer, not a sales call — then a costed, prioritised proposal for the scope above. Your answers are attached automatically.
Is this really free?
Yes. The self-assessment, the PDF, the assessment conversation and the proposal are all free and carry no obligation. We do it because a well-scoped conversation is the best first meeting either of us can have.
What happens after I submit?
A PTS consultant reviews your answers and comes back within two business days to arrange the free assessment — a structured conversation with an engineer to validate the picture. You then get a costed, prioritised proposal. No drip campaigns, no cold calls beyond that.
What happens to my answers?
They go to our inbox to prepare your assessment, and nowhere else — not into a marketing database, not to third parties. Until you press submit, everything stays in your browser.
