The standard we work to
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the benchmark referenced by accessibility regulations across the regions we serve, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mainland China. We treat this as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-off exercise: accessibility is considered as we design, build, and update the site.
What we have done
We have built this website with accessibility in mind, including:
- Semantic, structured HTML so screen readers can interpret headings, lists, and page landmarks correctly.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, with decorative images marked so assistive technology can skip them.
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and its background.
- Full keyboard navigability, so the site can be used without a mouse.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes, orientations, and zoom levels.
- Clear, descriptive link text and a logical, predictable reading order.
Known limitations
We are honest about the fact that accessibility is never finished. Some content — particularly older material, embedded third-party tools, or downloadable documents — may not yet fully meet our target standard. Where we identify a barrier, we prioritise fixing it.
